manna from heaven is an outreach mission of the united methodist churches of daisy and glenwood. manna from heaven is dedicated to help eliminate hunger in our surrounding area by providing nutritious food to those in need. philosophy and operating expectations manna from heaven operates following the guidelines listed below:1.no one asking for help is turned away unless there is nothing available to give out.2.no one will be discriminated against 3.all assistance is given free of any charge or for in kind payment.4.maintain records on the receipt, distribution, and use of the products for 36 months.5.understand that the food received is a gift and not the result of any sales transaction; and as such acknowledges that no express warranties apply to the nature and condition of the food.6.will destroy and/or discard any food that may not be fit for human consumption.7.agrees to safely and properly handle the donated goods, which conforms to all local, state and federal regulations.8.will accept food as is condition and agrees to inspect such items, withholding from distribution and/or consumption any food that might be spoiled or inedible. 9.will not use donated goods for the purpose of fundraising.10.will be open at least one day per week for a minimum of 4 hours.hours & days of operation are: the 2nd & 4th monday & tuesday of every month8:00 am til 12:00pmwe only serve the residents of glenwood, kirby and daisy only and require proof of address.
